For most of us, social media is a big part of our daily lives. We check Facebook while eating, scroll through Instagram while procrastinating at work, and spend hours watching cute cats on TikTok.
While there’s nothing wrong with taking some time to enjoy ourselves and destress, many of us are guilty of letting social media consume far more of our time than it should.
This Ramadhan, let’s make a conscious effort to spend less time on Facebook and more time reading His book – the Holy Qur’an.
You don’t have to do it alone though! Sign up for a tadarus class at your local masjid, or get your friends and family involved by working out a schedule for everyone to complete a page or two each day.
Let’s work together to fill our hearts with the words of Allah S.W.T.
