In more flat fertile areas, such as parts of Southeast Asia, hand pumps are ideal for villages and households. Manual hand pumps are also more affordable, as well as easy to install and maintain. The maintenance is done at the village level without the need for special parts.
For just $325, you will be able to help build a Water Hand Pump that will benefit 1-3 families and help provide clean drinking water that can last for a decade or more. The Water Well will be able to supply clean water for their daily activities such as drinking, washing, cooking and agriculture. Imagine the lives you will change!
