Double Your Impact with Prophetic Qurban

“Whoever revives my Sunnah then he has loved me. And whoever loved me, he shall be with me in Paradise.'” The Prophet, (Tirmidhi)

Performing Qurban holds significance to those of us who adhere to the teachings of Islam. The act of Qurban is rooted in religious and spiritual traditions.

Qurban holds a historical and symbolic significance as it commemorates the obedience and faith of Prophet Ibrahim A.S. When we perform Qurban, we are emulating the devotion and submission demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim A.S.

Besides that, Qurban also serves as a means to express gratitude towards Allah S.W.T. for His blessings and provisions.

Not many people might know this, but our beloved Prophet S.A.W used to give Qurban on behalf of himself and another sacrifice on behalf of those in his Ummah who were unable to. This extra sacrifice is what we call the Prophetic Qurban.

“There is indeed a good model for you in the Prophet S.A.W. for the one who has hope in Allah and the Last Day, and remembers Allah profusely.” Qur’an (33:21)

The Qur’an tells us the Prophet S.A.W. is the best example for mankind.

For us who are able to do it, it is encouraged to follow the Sunnah of the Prophet S.A.W. and give the Prophetic Qurban for the Ummah.

There are great rewards in following the actions of our Beloved Prophet S.A.W.

It’s also an opportunity for us that comes once a year, for us to make an extra sacrifice for the Ummah, just like our Beloved Messenger S.A.W. did. Just like Zakat al-Fitr is given at the end of Ramadhan, the extra sacrifice will be given to the needy and underprivileged. We want to ensure that the most vulnerable communities will be able to enjoy a healthy, nourishing meal on the days of Eid ul-Adha.

With hundreds of millions across the globe struggling with astonishing levels of hunger and food insecurity, your Qurban has never been more vital.

Double your impact and your rewards by reaping the blessings of Zulhijjah and Qurban.
