Blessings Through Giving: Our Donors Share Their Experiences
At Global Ehsan Relief, we take great pride in our Care for Clean Water projects. These initiatives have delivered life-sustaining water wells to countless communities in need. Understanding the crucial importance of building water sources, we reached out to our donors to learn about their motivations. They also shared their feelings upon the completion of the water wells. Here are some of their heartfelt responses!
Why Our Donors Choose to Donate
Many of our donors were driven by a deep sense of compassion and spiritual duty. One donor shared, “To help those in need, to gain blessings in the hereafter, InsyaAllah.” This sentiment was echoed by others who recognised the religious significance of providing water for ablution and other daily needs, emphasising the blessings from Allah that come with such acts of kindness.
Several donors expressed their appreciation for GER’s work and the affordability of our projects. “I have been making donations through GER and I love their work,” one donor mentioned, while another highlighted, “It is affordable compared to other organisations.” Trust and reliability were also key factors, with donors appreciating the updates and photos provided upon project completion. “Trustworthy & reliable. Received updates & photos upon completion,” said one satisfied donor.
For some, the motivation was deeply personal. “A very close friend passed away and I wanted to make a difference in people’s lives in his name,” shared one donor, illustrating how acts of charity can also be a way to honour loved ones.
Reactions Upon Completion
The reactions of our donors upon the completion of the water wells were overwhelmingly positive and filled with gratitude. “Alhamdulillah, I would like to thank the team that have made an effort to complete the ablution for the people in need and may Allah S.W.T bless you & reward you for the good deeds you have done!” expressed one donor.
Another donor reflected on the joy and satisfaction of seeing the project come to fruition: “Ecstatic to say the least. Our donation has enabled them to get a stable supply of clean water for their daily necessities.” This sentiment was shared by many who felt a profound sense of fulfilment knowing their contributions made a tangible difference.
One donor, who dedicated their donation as waqf on behalf of their parents, shared a deeply moving response: “MasyaAllah, I perform this waqf on behalf of my parents and when I saw the pictures, I teared. I hope this will give flowing rewards for both of my parents every time a person takes the water from the well.”
Others expressed similar feelings of gratitude and blessedness. “I felt so grateful and blessed when I saw how it benefited others. It was great work and thanks for sharing,” said one donor, capturing the collective appreciation for GER’s efforts.
