Fanina, a 12-year-old girl from Annal Nagar, Sri Lanka, lives with her mother, Fathima Nirosha, and sibling. After losing her father to cancer in 2024, her mother became the sole caregiver with no stable income, relying on limited support from her brother.
Despite financial hardships, Fanina remains dedicated to her education and Hifz studies, showing resilience and determination.
Breakdown Of Sponsorship
Since 2025, Fanina has received educational sponsorship through the Global Ehsan Relief Hifz Sponsorship Programme,
helping her mother manage school, tuition, madrasah fees, and daily food expenses.
The support has reduced the family’s financial burden and enabled Fanina to continue her education and Hifz studies with greater stability.
Fathima Fanina's Success
Fanina, who lost her father in 2024 and faced financial challenges, has remained committed to her education and Hifz studies. Alhamdulillah, she is now ranked 5th in her class and has memorised two juz’ of the Holy Quran. Through the Hifz Sponsorship Programme, she can continue her studies with greater stability and support.
