We’re coming to the end of Ramadhan and throughout the month, Global Ehsan Relief has been providing Daily Iftar Meals, as well as other forms of aid in the holy month.
Our offices around the world are working hard to ensure your donations are helping those who are in need of it, especially in Ramadhan.
In Malaysia, your Ehsan Ramadhan contributions have helped provide Iftar Meals for madrasah students at different institutions around Johor.
At Madrasah Tahfiz Az-Zahra, Gelang Patah, Johor, Global Ehsan Relief hosted a total of 150 students who were currently studying there. For the students, they were able to enjoy delicious platters of chicken rice, prepared by the madrasah.
“Whoever feeds a person breaking his fast will earn the same reward as him, without anything being lessened from the reward of the fasting person,”
The Prophet, (Tirmidhi)
The teachers and students expressed their gratitude for the donation and the willingness to visit them and have the Iftar there, as the location of Madrasah Tahfiz Az-Zahra is quite far, being 45 minutes from the city.
While at Madrasah Tahfiz Al-Attas, Ulu Tiram, Johor, a total of 270 students had their iftar sponsored by Global Ehsan Relief. The madrasah was established in 1993 and is registered under the Johor Islamic Religious Council. Started as a small madrasah, it has now expanded to become a school. Some students are taking the Malaysian Certificate of Education, or known as Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) and the Malaysian Higher Religious Certificate or Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM).
Alhamdulillah, our Global Ehsan Relief Malaysia team were happy to see the smiles on the students’ faces. At the same time, the residents of Madrasah Al-Attas express their gratitude for the Iftar Meals. We hope that the charity done will be rewarded with multiplied rewards, insyaAllah.
It’s still not too late to reap the rewards of providing Iftar Meals to the less privileged in the community worldwide. In these last remaining days of Ramadhan, let’s lend a helping hand to ease the struggles of our Ummah by providing Iftar and Sahoor in the Last 10 Nights.
