Lebanon, despite its own economic collapse, hosts around 1.5 million Syrian refugees - the highest per capita refugee population globally. Jordan is home to approximately 600,000 registered Syrian refugees, plus over 2.39 million Palestinian refugees, many living in camps for generations.
