Ablution Place

This water source is more than just a means for prayer - it provides reliable access to clean water for everyone in the vicinity and thousands of lives could be saved each day. One of the most significant aspects of Islam's pre-worship cleanliness and purity is wudu, also known as ablution. In itself, ablution is an act of worship and is the first and most important step in prayer. We are working on this initiative with families from many provinces, helping them construct ablution spaces where they can do their ablution.

Muslims in rural communities have no access to Clean Water

Globally, Muslims perform five daily prayers as part of our pillar of faith. Prior to the prayer, one has to perform the wudhu as taught by the Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. Unfortunately, clean water isn't easily accessible in rural areas. For these communities, they have limited access to clean water to prepare for prayers. For some, they are forced to take their ablution from ponds or springs, or even trek up mountains to collect clean water.

Help us make clean water accessible for Muslims in need. Sponsor an Ablution Place today.
